Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) KV Schoonwater's Abel Van Den Wijngaert started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Ingelbert came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Illescas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sem Roekeloos in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Pino Van Hinnendaels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a KV Schoonwater's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th match minute, KV Schoonwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Tielemans to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Venezuela booed when KV Schoonwater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinard Billen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 33rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 33rd minute of the match. Joachim Wiggers charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joachim Wiggers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joachim Wiggers kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Van Den Wijngaert had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. 60 minutes into the game, Jonathan Venegas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KV Schoonwater the free kick. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Pino Van Hinnendaels recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. KV Schoonwater's Franky Musseeuw was substituted for Abel Van Den Wijngaert. Bernt Tielemans made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. In the 94th minute, Franky Musseeuw made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-5. KV Schoonwater played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
