Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Xu Yi Jian got the match started through his kick off. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Qvalfeldt in the 3rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Xu Yi Jian sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. A collision led to The Gonzez getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Mattias Qvalfeldt hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Mattias Qvalfeldt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-0. When Mattias Qvalfeldt fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Gonzez's protests and gave Mattias Qvalfeldt a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when The Gonzez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Qvalfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Holer Nolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pasachai Jitjai in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robert Carlsson was slow to take the kick. During this time The Gonzez's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Pasachai Jitjai managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Xu Yi Jian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. If Xu Yi Jian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 minutes, Pasachai Jitjai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Gonzez and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, The Gonzez's Pasachai Jitjai got a free kick in the 39th minute. Marko Vennerberg got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Bo Lundqvist. After having played for 43 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, The Gonzez's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Holer Nolan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Costa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Venezuela's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Gonzez's Hjalmar Jakobsson has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 55th minute. Joshua Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xu Yi Jian in the 62nd minute of the match. Holer Nolan made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Robert Carlsson walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pasachai Jitjai in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to The Gonzez getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ted Ödmann hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xu Yi Jian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
