After some careless play in the Guaparo FC defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zlatan Dimitriev. The Guaparo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zlatan Dimitriev should have stopped the shot. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Casimiro Sayveon sent off a good shot on target. Zlatan Dimitriev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of play forced Guaparo FC's goalkeeper Zlatan Dimitriev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zlatan Dimitriev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casimiro Sayveon scored 1-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guaparo FC's Zlatan Dimitriev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Guaparo FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Rouco during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Guaparo FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zlatan Dimitriev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 61st minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Zlatan Dimitriev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Arenas in the 93rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
