In the 5th match minute, -BZF- Valea Buzăului was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Pascaru to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Ana Ţugui had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Puig. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ana Ţugui came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Noboa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. After 14 minutes, Juan Rubio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the -BZF- Valea Buzăului players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Claudiu Bădulescu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Ferrant during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ana Ţugui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eliseo Noboa charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Noboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. In the 42nd play minute Lautaro Puig came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ana Ţugui. 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Ana Ţugui in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Sabin Cândroveanu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Claudiu Bădulescu. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Claudiu Bădulescu. In the 57th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ana Ţugui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 59th minute of play forced -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Ana Ţugui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Abel Carballo in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Emanuel Ioanițiu. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Claudiu Bădulescu. The throw-in from Abel Carballo in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Claudiu Bădulescu. Abel Carballo made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eliseo Noboa however managed to control. A sloppy throw-in by Juan Rubio in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Sabin Cândroveanu. Gelu Jumancă succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 72nd playminute. Lautaro Puig made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Avram Pascaru. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Sabin Cândroveanu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juan Rubio in the 80 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Claudiu Bădulescu. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's attentive Paul Baran managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 86th minute of the game. Gelu Jumancă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
