Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthis Paelemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Mahmud Alp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chu Zhen Xun in the 40th minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthis Paelemans in the 43rd minute of play. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Joel Gaona scored to the left of an out of position Mahmud Alp, making the score, 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Mahmud Alp successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Mahmud Alp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 52nd minute of play. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mahmud Alp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mahmud Alp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 67th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C.'s Emanúel Iturbe was substituted for Matthis Paelemans. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanúel Iturbe in the 76th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mahmud Alp came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ARIS THESSALONIKI F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
