The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Arnaldo Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, LRCA Office Club's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Slawomir Czerwinski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when LRCA Office Club's Arnaldo Mota shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Slawomir Czerwinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. LRCA Office Club's Slawomir Czerwinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. Slawomir Czerwinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mário Amaral in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Slawomir Czerwinski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Slawomir Czerwinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play. Mário Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mário Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when LRCA Office Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after LRCA Office Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Cristian Sancho made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that LRCA Office Club's Slawomir Czerwinski managed to reach the ball for a save. LRCA Office Club's Slawomir Czerwinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save LRCA Office Club from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slawomir Czerwinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Slawomir Czerwinski made a huge save. In the 65th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Slawomir Czerwinski. The goal made the score 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in LRCA Office Club's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Slawomir Czerwinski came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind LRCA Office Club's goalkeeper Slawomir Czerwinski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slawomir Czerwinski having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Slawomir Czerwinski. LRCA Office Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 94th match minute, LRCA Office Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Mandrak to maneuver through the defense.
