When Isidoro Sarmiento came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Sarmiento couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Teutonic Order getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Slobodan Timotijević hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the game, Makarije Baljak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 15 played minutes Teutonic Order got a freekick which was hit by Momir Prvulović. 20 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radoslav Tonković. Teutonic Order's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Radoslav Tonković came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Berganza slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 24th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Abraham Alguacil kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Radoslav Tonković. That made the score 3-2 in the 29 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Makarije Baljak in the 32nd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Makarije Baljak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 played minutes Teutonic Order got a freekick which was hit by Makarije Baljak. In the 42nd minute, Slobodan Timotijević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abraham Alguacil succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-2 in the 45th playminute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aaron Barrios's late challenge caught a Teutonic Order's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaron Barrios helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. After a rather tough play, Panama's Aaron Barrios got a free kick in the 55th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Teutonic Order players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Panama.
