In the 41st minute, Tobias Markel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Omar Selmo. In the 44th match minute, Inter de Urquiza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Abarca to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 52nd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleksander Marciewicz was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Edmundo Espiga made a great header on Honduras's corner, it was just that Inter de Urquiza's Aleksander Marciewicz managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 82nd minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
