Mateo Leguizamo's late challenge caught a Deep Diving Eagles CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateo Leguizamo helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Leguizamo. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Deep Diving Eagles CF's Serdar Ergün. But to his dismay, Serdar Ergün quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Abram Luque hit a great ball. The El Salvador players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deep Diving Eagles CF were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serdar Ergün to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serdar Ergün got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute, Abram Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Serdar Ergün came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Moises Fernandino fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Moises Fernandino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute, Serdar Ergün ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Zorita was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Savaş Honazlı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 90th minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The El Salvador fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deep Diving Eagles CF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
