Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Régis de Queirós skillfully saved the ball. In the 8th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Ghenadie Furdui hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Régis de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Iustin Bungeanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. In the 26th minute of the match, Iustin Bungeanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Iustin Bungeanu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jonathan Ferrant didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Tarcisio Reis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Tarcisio Reis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 40th minute. Régis de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luke Clist was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Roderick Oosterhof shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Iustin Bungeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luke Clist in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Palmeiras getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ghenadie Furdui hit a great ball. In the 59th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Palmeiras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Palmeiras's Régis de Queirós managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 60th minute Iustin Bungeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iustin Bungeanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke Clist in the 68th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Clist came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke Clist struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmeiras. Palmeiras's José Carlos Simões was substituted for Iustin Bungeanu. In the 77th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Clist in the 80th minute of the match. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis de Queirós having to interfere. José Carlos Simões took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Régis de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 87th minute of the match. Régis de Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Leonardo Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Tarcisio Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmeiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Tarcisio Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Palmeiras players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
