In the 13th minute of the game, Aaron Barrios landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Grgur Komljenović's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grgur Komljenović helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Teutonic Order got a freekick which was hit by Grgur Komljenović. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Viktor Panić fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Teutonic Order's protests and gave Viktor Panić a yellow card for diving instead. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobrašin Veljović, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Radoslav Tonković in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 32 played minutes Tomas Berganza rounded Teutonic Order's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Makarije Baljak in the 36th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Makarije Baljak in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Radoslav Tonković made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Berganza to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. Alberto Sainz kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. Teutonic Order's Slobodan Timotijević shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcos Cotilla but with some difficulty. 57 minutes into the game, Dobrašin Veljović recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla. Dobrašin Veljović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Viktor Panić showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 62 minute of play. Radoslav Tonković showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 66th minute of the match. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grgur Komljenović scored 1-5 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Abraham Alguacil hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Felipe Ros hit a great ball. In the 88th match minute, Teutonic Order was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobrašin Veljović to maneuver through the defense. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Slobodan Timotijević managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teutonic Order's supporters crossed their fingers, but Slobodan Timotijević was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radoslav Tonković was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teutonic Order's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
