Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Rollheiser, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Olgierd Walczak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Fcion C.A. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Pancho Saa hit a great ball. Joel Gaona's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Olgierd Walczak on his right side and into the goal. 28 minutes into the game it was 0-2. In the 37th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olgierd Walczak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamim Rollheiser in the 39th minute of play. Olgierd Walczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 41st minute of play. Luca Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Rikard Moberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fcion C.A.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rikard Moberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Rollheiser in the 56th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Fcion C.A.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Olgierd Walczak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Luque to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when David Muñoz came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Muñoz in the 79th minute of the match. Olgierd Walczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 80th minute of play. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
