Predador's Mathias Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 5th minute of play. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Mathias Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Mathias Leite made a huge save. Mathias Leite didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Pardo went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Mathias Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 17th minute. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Mathias Leite made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Válter Peres during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Predador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Peres to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 24th minute of the match Válter Peres completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Válter Peres a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Predador getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Válter Peres hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the game, Juan Diego Tenorio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Predador's Amauri Mineiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Predador's Amauri Mineiro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Juan Diego Tenorio, made in the 30th minute of the game. Predador's Amauri Mineiro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Raul Venegas in the 33 minute of the game. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauri Mineiro in the 34th minute of play. After 36 minutes, Marco Neto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Predador and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Predador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathias Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 38th minute of play. Juan Diego Tenorio made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Predador's Amauri Mineiro. Mathias Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 44th minute of the match. Predador's attentive Elias Sergipano managed to snatch the ball when Jose Sanz made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cássio Miranda made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathias Leite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Predador booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Diego Tenorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cássio Miranda was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Hector Covarrubias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathias Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Predador's attentive Elias Sergipano managed to snatch the ball when Jose Sanz made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. When Paraguay's Jaime Pardo in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Predador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 72nd minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 84 minutes, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Covarrubias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Leite didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Pardo went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When Marcinho Sergipano fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Predador's protests and gave Marcinho Sergipano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Predador getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Marcinho Sergipano hit a great ball. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paraguay fully deserved thier win.
