Marco Tamayo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's Eulalio Ostadar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Zorita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Chiche y Anto en el Cielo booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Moises Fernandino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Justo Nel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Justo Nel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's Baldomiro Vidal got a free kick in the 27th minute. Abram Luque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Nel having to interfere. Andres Rufio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Moises Fernandino's late challenge caught a Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Fernandino helped the player get up and apologised. Moises Fernandino hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Eulalio Ostadar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Ostadar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Baldomiro Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 53rd minute of play forced Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's goalkeeper Justo Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Ostadar came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Rufio in the 58th minute of play. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justo Nel made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Moises Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3.
