After 24 played minutes Chiche y Anto en el Cielo got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Otsando. 26 minutes into the match, Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's goalkeeper Justo Nel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarell Hill. After some careless play in the Chiche y Anto en el Cielo defense, Finlay Stair kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justo Nel. The Chiche y Anto en el Cielo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justo Nel should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Jamaica's Finlay Stair sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justo Nel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Andres Rufio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Romon Oliver hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Jamaica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Geroy Ascue's late challenge caught a Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geroy Ascue helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Chiche y Anto en el Cielo a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Andres Rufio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson. 2-3. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Rufio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Eulalio Ostadar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Finlay Stair made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's Andres Rufio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 2-5 after 54 minutes of play. 59 minutes into the game, Finlay Stair cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-5. One of Jamaica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chiche y Anto en el Cielo:s goal. Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's Justo Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finlay Stair in the 81st minute of play. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Jamaica from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romon Oliver in the 84th minute of play forced Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's goalkeeper Justo Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Jaunti got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 96 minutes on the clock, Jamaall Padmore commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jamaica! 4-7 came through a penalty shot after 97 played minutes, when Chiche y Anto en el Cielo:s Andres Rufio calmly waited for Jamaica:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 103rd minute, when Andres Rufio sent off a good shot on target. The Chiche y Anto en el Cielo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chiche y Anto en el Cielo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
