Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Walmir Neiva took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Covarrubias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 4 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moisés Marquez. Moisés Marquez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Jacobo Nores skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Moisés Marquezs short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Jacobo Nores to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 10th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. Paraguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Moisés Marquez scored to the left of an out of position Jacobo Nores, making the score, 1-0. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Neiva in the 15th minute of the match. Waldemar Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Walmir Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Predador's Walmir Neiva. But to his dismay, Walmir Neiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Moisés Marquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moisés Marquez ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Virgílio Gonçalves in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. After 42 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Raul Venegas. Ulisses Vaz shot from long distance in the 43rd minute, but Jacobo Nores was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Neiva in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Waldemar Cardozo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jacobo Nores was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Moisés Marquez succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Neiva in the 56th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walmir Neiva in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Hector Covarrubias hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Neiva in the 60th minute of play. After 64 played minutes, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Denílson de Andrade came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paraguay reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denílson de Andrade saved Predador from getting behind. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Denílson de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Walmir Neiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 75th minute Moisés Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Paraguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ulisses Vaz was slow to take the kick. During this time Predador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Predador's Ulisses Vaz to fire away a dangerous shot which Jacobo Nores despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Walmir Neiva scored 8-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Cardozo came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Denílson de Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmir Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Neiva in the 91st minute of play. Walmir Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. Paraguay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
