Justo Nel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karlus Waugh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes, Jamaica's Finlay Stair shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Justo Nel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jamaica reached it. 44 minutes into the match, Chiche y Anto en el Cielo's goal looked a bit too open when Finlay Stair came free, but Justo Nel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamaall Padmore was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andres Rufio made a kick off. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Rufio in the 57th minute of the match. Zeledon Jaunti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Justo Nel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. 99 minutes into the match, Zeledon Jaunti notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chiche y Anto en el Cielo fully deserved thier win.
