In the 2nd minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Nerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cassius Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassius Byrne couldn't finish the play. Ciro Nerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 17th minute of the match. Ciro Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Bancruz F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Ciro Nerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Zach Harrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ciro Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zach Harrison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Mcdonald struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Ciro Nerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Ciro Nerio in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. USA's Cassius Byrne was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ciro Nerio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 67 minutes into the match, Bancruz F.C's goalkeeper Ciro Nerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. Bancruz F.C's Ciro Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 92nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sam Campbell in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Nerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
