The Del Materno Vengo fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Del Materno Vengo's Luís Gustavo Mangueira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Jorge Chayo came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Del Materno Vengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Chayo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Del Materno Vengo getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Alejandro Cheche hit a great ball. Jorge Chayo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Bruno Barrett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the game, one of Curacao:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Del Materno Vengo a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juan Luis Dean, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Curacao's Bruno Barrett. 0-2. When Alejandro Cheche fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Del Materno Vengo's protests and gave Alejandro Cheche a yellow card for diving instead. Alejandro Cheche hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Del Materno Vengo's Luís Gustavo Mangueira got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Luís Gustavo Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Gustavo Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luís Gustavo Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Gustavo Mangueira was the one to do the kick off. Luís Gustavo Mangueira took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 57 played minutes Del Materno Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Cheche. With a little luck, Curacao's Bruno Barrett got control of the ball when Luís Gustavo Mangueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match Del Materno Vengo got a corner. Curacao's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juan Luis Dean ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Luís Gustavo Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luís Gustavo Mangueira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Bruno Barrett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 72 minutes into the game, Luís Gustavo Mangueira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett. Luís Gustavo Mangueira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Luís Gustavo Mangueira scored 0-6 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Del Materno Vengo's Evelio Menendo was substituted for Jorge Chayo. After having played for 80 minutes, Uriel Cresencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Del Materno Vengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Cresencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Gustavo Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Del Materno Vengo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
