Antonio Canal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mino Puig succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 21st minute, Elian Benedicto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 25 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Coronel Revuelta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elian Benedicto in the 28th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Villawalter City getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Elian Benedicto hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elian Benedicto, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Villawalter City's Antonio Canal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Coronel Revuelta tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Villawalter City getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Sebastián Olivarez hit a great ball. Luis Andino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Elian Benedicto tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elian Benedicto was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mino Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 55 played minutes Villawalter City got a freekick which was hit by Mino Puig. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Canal having to interfere. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Villawalter City's Mino Puig. But to his dismay, Mino Puig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute of play forced Villawalter City's goalkeeper Antonio Canal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Canal made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coronel Revuelta in the 82nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elian Benedicto in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Elian Benedicto came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
