Tony Löv didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Bicicleta F.C.'s Tony Löv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 17th minute of play. Antoine Griezmann had several of the Ecuador's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Julio Vera as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Feliu in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Antoine Griezmann made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Bicicleta F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Arendt. In the 56th minute Segundo Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Feliu in the 95th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Bicicleta F.C. could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
