Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Arendt in the 4th minute. Antoine Griezmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Tony Löv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bicicleta F.C. booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Segundo Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Segundo Feliu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bicicleta F.C.'s Hüsmen Vahat was substituted for Lucas Basualdo. Eleuterio Sotil kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tomas Illescas fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Tomas Illescas a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Bicicleta F.C.'s Eleuterio Sotil got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Eleuterio Sotil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bicicleta F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Sotil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Segundo Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Segundo Feliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Hüsmen Vahat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Tony Löv made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 95th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Sotil in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bicicleta F.C. had played much better football throughout.
