Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Pacheco in the 4th minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Fernandes in the 15th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in mar-azul's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Estevão Lemos came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute Murilo Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murilo Fernandes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play forced mar-azul's goalkeeper Estevão Lemos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play forced mar-azul's goalkeeper Estevão Lemos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estevão Lemos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Estevão Lemos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murilo Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Estevão Lemos having to make a save. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Murilo Fernandes to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Roberto Pacheco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Fernandes came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Estevão Lemos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murilo Fernandes in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. That made the score 1-1 after 79 minutes of play. mar-azul's 彭枫迪 was substituted for Adelino Palmeira. After a rather tough play, mar-azul's Roberto Pacheco got a free kick in the 87th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estevão Lemos having to interfere. Murilo Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Estevão Lemos. Ecuador played a much better game than mar-azul and deserved their victory. The mar-azul players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
