Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Abeitia came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Liberland defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Eduino. The Liberland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Eduino should have stopped the shot. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Liberland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. 23 minutes into the match, Liberland's goalkeeper Rene Eduino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 24th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Liberland's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Cristian Sancho managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Eduino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Andino got free with Rene Eduino in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Rene Eduino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Francho's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Rene Eduino in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 40 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Eduino. Liberland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Eduino having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnino Abeitia to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rene Eduino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rene Eduino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liberland's Rene Eduino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 64th minute of play. Rene Eduino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 65th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Mariano Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Liberland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Liberland's Rene Eduino managed to reach the ball for a save. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
