Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jehad Listiyantoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rully Lasut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. When Alex Cambeiro fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Alex Cambeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Java's Jehad Listiyantoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Abraham Alguacil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jehad Listiyantoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jehad Listiyantoro was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timotius Husodo in the 46th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jehad Listiyantoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jehad Listiyantoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Java booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egi Bajuri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcos Cotilla. Panama's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 90 played minutes Java got a freekick which was hit by Rully Lasut. The Java support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
