The Java fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Java's Jehad Listiyantoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 16th minute of play. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rully Lasut went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rully Lasut, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Rully Lasut cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Java's Rully Lasut got a free kick in the 28th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aryo Febrian in the 30th minute of play. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 35 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Timotius Husodo came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Rully Lasut notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rully Lasut to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Rully Lasut made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Java's Rully Lasut fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 61 minutes into the match, Rully Lasut had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rully Lasut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Aryo Febrian tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Carballo to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rully Lasut, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute.
