The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrián Guillermo in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When VIEDMA FC's Jean Carl Pagnier in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Salvador's goalie prevented a goal. Adrián Guillermo scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th minute, Abram Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Calvino in the 14th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldo Dei made in the 16th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jean Carl Pagnier however managed to control. In the 17th minute Adrián Guillermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Adrián Guillermo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the game, VIEDMA FC's Adrián Guillermo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 28 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Marco Tamayo. In the 29th minute of the match Adolfo Jacob shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Zorita showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Jean Carl Pagnier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Guillermo came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Carl Pagnier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VIEDMA FC's Anak Opat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save VIEDMA FC from getting a goal against them.

After 51 minutes of play, VIEDMA FC's Adrián Guillermo made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Carl Pagnier in the 55th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Pudes in the 56th minute. After 58 minutes, Valentino Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the VIEDMA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentino Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Carl Pagnier in the 59th minute of the match. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Carl Pagnier in the 60th minute of play. Ezequiel Pudes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. VIEDMA FC's Leonardo Isadore was substituted for Isidro Calvino. The crowd rose to their feet as VIEDMA FC's Leonardo Isadore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 0-6 after 68 minutes of play. In the last second Ricardo Zorita throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jean Carl Pagnier in the 74thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Adrián Guillermo in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Anak Opat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 78th minute of the match. Ezequiel Pudes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. VIEDMA FC made a substitution. Melchor Teofilio replaced Paulo Uxio. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Jean Carl Pagnier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Adrián Guillermo put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Carl Pagnier in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Carl Pagnier came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VIEDMA FC played a much better game than El Salvador and deserved their victory. The El Salvador players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
