Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gaona. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jefferson de Amaral made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Emil Berntzen put in a rough tackle. Theo Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Cavalcante came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Λstral Villains FC made a substitution. Lars Holand replaced Jefferson de Amaral. Λstral Villains FC's Daniel Majstorović quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Leoz, made in the 74th minute of the game. Λstral Villains FC's Theo Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 77th minute of play. Dante Lacasa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lars Holand. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
