Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Luisito Marino started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 6 minutes, Gürel Zeyni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabalero and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Sabalero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürel Zeyni to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Gürel Zeyni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabalero's supporters rose to their feet, but Gürel Zeyni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emilio Bibiano came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Illescas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emilio Bibiano, 2-0. 17 minutes into the game, Rômulo Guerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emilio Bibiano came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 30th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sabalero's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 38th minute. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Emilio Bibiano made a huge save. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match Ermegildo Cibran shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Marino in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Sabalero got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Stephen. After having played for 56 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Adam Hızlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Gürel Zeyni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 71 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Sabalero players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Bibiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisito Marino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rômulo Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Adam Hızlı rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. In the 86th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Bibiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Sabalero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Esparteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas didn't quite understand what happened when in the 92 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Rômulo Guerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gürel Zeyni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabalero's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
