The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A wasted opportunity for Red Proud FC. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Tomáš Pliešovský came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Red Proud FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Lechințan in the 73rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomáš Pliešovský in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but C.J. 张俊朗 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Red Proud FC's Tomáš Pliešovský got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomáš Pliešovský in the 97th minute of the match.
