Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Farid Lucifer having to interfere. Farid Lucifer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Farid Lucifer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Farid Lucifer did a great save. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Farid Lucifer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Farid Lucifer in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Farid Lucifer made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Farid Lucifer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Resurrección Diabólica Ψ from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 29th minute of play forced Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goalkeeper Farid Lucifer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Farid Lucifer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Farid Lucifer. Farid Lucifer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
