Real Södertälje were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Reynaldo Cerezo took the corner. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jack Glanselius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Real Södertälje's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Jack Glanselius in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jack Glanselius made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target.
