After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Dorival Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorival Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Constantin-Maximilian Schwarzenegger made in the 7th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Magne Hääger however managed to control. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's attentive Leopoldo do Nascimento managed to snatch the ball when Tomas Illescas made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. After 15 played minutes Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Alvarenga. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Dorival Alvarenga took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 21st minute, Dorival Alvarenga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. José Luis Heidemann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 24th minute. Dorival Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's José Luis Heidemann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with José Luis Heidemann in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Alvarenga in the 37th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's José Luis Heidemann got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dorival Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Dedê Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Camilo Gaos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Camilo Gaos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Alvarenga in the 59th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Leonardo de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo de Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorival Alvarenga in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF the free kick. When Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Dorival Alvarenga in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Leonardo de Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Alvarenga in the 89th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilmar Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Dorival Alvarenga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leonardo de Lara took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
