Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Luque in the 7th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Donato came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Donato in the 11th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cris Courtois didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juarês Donato. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mexico's goalie and right to Juarês Donato. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mexico's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos Vianna in the 24th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Brian Finnman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 32nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Wambalamba FC's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from João Carlos Vianna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Wambalamba FC's Juarês Donato in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mexico's goalie prevented a goal. Wambalamba FC were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brian Finnman took the corner. Rolf Pilgren kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 40th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cris Courtois skillfully saved the ball. In the 43rd minute, Robin Steckamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wambalamba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Robin Steckamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Cris Courtois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 52nd minute. In the 60th minute Robin Steckamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Robin Steckamp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wambalamba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 70th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Cris Courtois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Steckamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Vianna in the 80th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Wambalamba FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Brian Finnman hit a great ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês Donato in the 85th minute of play. 91 minutes in the game, Alberto Tafalla fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cris Courtois having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Donato in the 95th minute of play. Wambalamba FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
