Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Fábio Figueiras started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Nascente do Leça's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laureano Coelho came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Coelho having to interfere. After 16 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laureano Coelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Laureano Coelho. Nascente do Leça's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Laureano Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of the match. Basílio Póvoas hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Nascente do Leça defense, Felix Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laureano Coelho. The Nascente do Leça fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laureano Coelho should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laureano Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Laureano Coelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Laureano Coelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 59 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Laureano Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laureano Coelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Almiro Peixoto hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ricardo Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Nascente do Leça's Fábio Figueiras got a free kick in the 89th minute. Laureano Coelho came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After a rather tough play, Nascente do Leça's Teodoro Miranda got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nascente do Leça throughout the match.
