Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Couto in the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Gilmar Couto made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilmar Couto in the 42nd minute of play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. After recieving a nice pass, Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's Borys Rakowski tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Antonio Arias got a free kick in the 54th minute. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Hieronim Gdowski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 64 minutes of play, Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's Gilmar Couto made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Andino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Hieronim Gdowski made a huge save. With a little luck, Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's Hieronim Gdowski got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilmar Couto scored 5-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
