Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. HFA FC's Cleto Gonza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 12th minute of play. C.J. De la Sotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 minutes, Jose Carita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the HFA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jose Carita hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, HFA FC's Celestino Eli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Cotilla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aaron Barrios was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. Maximiliano Petrigai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. In the 35th minute, Celestino Eli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Abraham Alguacil hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by HFA FC's Celestino Eli. But to his dismay, Celestino Eli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Eli in the 45th minute of play. When HFA FC's Celestino Eli in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panama's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Celestino Eli made the kick off in the second half. Celestino Eli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by C.J. De la Sotta in the 58th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Petrigai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, HFA FC's Celestino Eli made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 72 minutes of play, HFA FC's Celestino Eli made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Celestino Eli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Eli, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celestino Eli's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jose Carita hit a great ball. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by C.J. De la Sotta in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Eli in the 90th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Eli in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The HFA FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
