Morón 1947 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jack Nicholson should have stopped the shot. Thiago Pliego was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mateo Flores showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Mateo Flores put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Thiago Pliego. Jack Nicholson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 21st minute of play. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dep. Morón 1947's goalkeeper Jack Nicholson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jack Nicholson made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute of the match, Guillermo Fontirroig got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jack Nicholson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 67th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Guillermo Fontirroig almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dep. Morón 1947's Jack Nicholson did a great save. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Felix Garrido hit a great ball. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chile were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
