Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Ádám Gaál capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ádám Gaál really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience was convinced that Ádám Gaál's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. During the 19th minute of the match Károly Grosics completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Károly Grosics a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Átkozottak's Ádám Gaál got a free kick in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Bálint Papp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gábor Antal. Tibor Simicska made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 33rd minute of play. Tibor Simicska showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tibor Simicska breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. If Dávid Radics had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, Átkozottak's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Tibor Simicska reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dávid Radics was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Dávid Radics fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Péter Szőllőssy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Bálint Papp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bálint Papp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 75 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tibor Simicska. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dávid Radics went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score.
