The audience was convinced that Cheng Chao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play forced Turbo Koksy's goalkeeper Patryk Ranc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Ranc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Cheng Chao left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Turbo Koksy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Patryk Ranc to make any attempt to save it. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Rafael Gallo put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Patryk Ranc. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Turbo Koksy throughout the match.
