Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Nana Lider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nana Lider having to interfere. Kennet Kielberg kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Nana Lider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Luis Andino's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Los Andes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Andino helped the player get up and apologised. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. In the 25th minute of the match, 徐文枫 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Kennet Kielberg got a free kick in the 26th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nana Lider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Anacleto Tiniebra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atletico Los Andes's Nana Lider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Kennet Kielberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. 39 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Nana Lider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Anacleto Tiniebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul to make the kick off. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Cristian Sancho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atletico Los Andes's Nana Lider did a great save. Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul got in the 62nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Julio Vera handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Nana Lider to make any attempt to save it. Nana Lider didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. A hard shot 75 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Nana Lider managed to make a qualified save. Club Atletico Los Andes's players were relieved. In the 80th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Club Atletico Los Andes made a substitution. Leonel Farias replaced Siro Betadur. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul in the 89th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Nana Lider in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anacleto Tiniebra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Nana Lider made a huge save.
