An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Gonzalez in the 6th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Pérez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Roque FC's goalkeeper Alexander Pérez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Pérez. Alexander Pérez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Cheb Diafat hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Lacasa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Orlando Casaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Alexander Pérez made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Pérez saved San Roque FC from getting behind. In the 54th minute of the match, Guillermo Fontirroig got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alexander Pérez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Alexander Pérez in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Alexander Pérez made a huge save. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. San Roque FC's Tomás Pinilla was substituted for Edgardo Gonzalez. After 76 played minutes San Roque FC got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam Peren. San Roque FC's Alexander Pérez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Pérez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alexander Pérez made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Pinilla's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Alexander Pérez in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Peren in the 96th minute of play. Chile's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
