Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Altan Miro got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 7 played minutes Asilo do Teco got a freekick which was hit by 孙战傲. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustão Cosme saved Asilo do Teco from getting behind. Altan Miro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Asilo do Teco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Altan Miro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asilo do Teco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Altan Miro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Asilo do Teco were furious when Zeca Damião was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Asilo do Teco's Zeca Damião got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Faustão Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Gilberto Bueno sent off a good shot on target. After 29 minutes, Olavo Oliveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asilo do Teco and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Asilo do Teco's Olavo Oliveira got a free kick in the 30th minute. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Cosme having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Asilo do Teco's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Faustão Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Gilberto Bueno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Bueno in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Bueno came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Bueno made a kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Bueno in the 52nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faustão Cosme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Altan Miro in the 65th minute of play. 孙战傲 hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rigoberto Mina the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rigoberto Mina had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 71st minute, one of Venezuela:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezuela. The referee gave Asilo do Teco a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Altan Miro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 2-0. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Gilberto Bueno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Gilberto Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Gilberto Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Asilo do Teco's Gilberto Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Asilo do Teco had won after a very even match.
