Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 15th minute of the match. After 19 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Farid Verrecchia who took care of the corner kick. Le Stade Briochin UC's Farid Verrecchia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Le Stade Briochin UC's Lev Yashin got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Farid Verrecchia took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Lev Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Le Stade Briochin UC booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clovis Janvier went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Mariano Lacasa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Lev Yashin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Le Stade Briochin UC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. The Le Stade Briochin UC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Le Stade Briochin UC's Dimitri Nedellec was substituted for Nolan Roux. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 82nd minute of play forced Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lev Yashin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Farid Verrecchia sent off a good shot on target.
