It was Iggi Kot who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of FC Gdansk36 booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Casaus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Cyprian Rekowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thiago Pliego. The goal made the score 2-0. After a rather tough play, FC Gdansk36's Ziemowit Fafinski got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 73rd match minute, FC Gdansk36 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Levente Tunyogi to maneuver through the defense. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. FC Gdansk36's Piotr Kozlowski was substituted for Cyprian Rekowski. 89 minutes into the match, FC Gdansk36's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Adam Matysek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piotr Kozlowski took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3.
