Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Tabor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Tabor's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The Le Stade Briochin UC fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Le Stade Briochin UC's Jaime Tabor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nolan Roux in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Le Stade Briochin UC's Lev Yashin. Lev Yashin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Jaime Tabor got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 29th minute of play forced Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Lev Yashin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre-Louis Eudeline hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Clovis Janvier took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. 42 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Tabor. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Le Stade Briochin UC's Dimitri Nedellec was substituted for Nolan Roux. 47 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Nedellec came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jaime Tabor made the kick off in the second half. Le Stade Briochin UC's Lev Yashin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 55th minute of play. Dimitri Nedellec made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jaime Tabor. In the 57th minute, Jaime Tabor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Gaona scored 3-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lev Yashin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Le Stade Briochin UC's Allan Parsons was substituted for Christopher Palumbo. Lev Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lev Yashin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 71st minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 73rd minute, Allan Parsons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lev Yashin firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 80th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lev Yashin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
