Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Lev Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Le Stade Briochin UC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Nolan Roux got a free kick in the 34th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lev Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes Le Stade Briochin UC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 43rd minute, Clovis Janvier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 2-1. Le Stade Briochin UC made a substitution. Dimitri Nedellec replaced Nolan Roux. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Tabor, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Tabor was the one to do the kick off. Le Stade Briochin UC's Lev Yashin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Le Stade Briochin UC from getting a goal against them. Jaime Tabor scored 4-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lev Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the game, Jaime Tabor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Le Stade Briochin UC's Lev Yashin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Le Stade Briochin UC from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lev Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Le Stade Briochin UC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lev Yashin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lev Yashin had great luck who in the 80thth minute grab hold of the ball when Felix Montes from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 81st minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lev Yashin quite easily take care of the ball. A hard shot 85 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Lev Yashin managed to make a qualified save. Le Stade Briochin UC's players were relieved. In the 87th play minute Daniel Zorita came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lev Yashin. 5-2. If Jaime Tabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Farid Verrecchia came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Le Stade Briochin UC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farid Verrecchia to maneuver through the defense.
