Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulgencio Gartzi in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. If Jan-Olof Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fulgencio Gartzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 9th minute Fulgencio Gartzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Olof Eliasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 20 minutes, Jan-Olof Eliasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Gallardeta and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Jan-Olof Eliasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's Fulgencio Gartzi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Gartzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fulgencio Gartzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Kevin Carballal kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Jan-Olof Eliasson hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Uruguay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Gallardeta were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fulgencio Gartzi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes La Gallardeta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Gartzi in the 61st minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes of play, La Gallardeta's Fulgencio Gartzi made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by La Gallardeta's Fulgencio Gartzi. But to his dismay, Fulgencio Gartzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Jan-Olof Eliasson took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Joaquin Gayoso to make any attempt to save it. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Fulgencio Gartzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Covarrubias. Jan-Olof Eliasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Olof Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Fulgencio Gartzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. La Gallardeta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
