In the 17thth minute of the game Gilberto Hats who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Hats in the 19th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Gilberto Hats cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Urbs LC's Pastor Ihazintu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rolando Noboa. That made the score 2-1 after 33 minutes of play. In the 37th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Urbs LC's Eugenio Santoro. Eugenio Santoro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Urbs LC's goalkeeper Eugenio Santoro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eugenio Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Santoro having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Pastor Ihazintu made the kick off in the second half. Urbs LC's Gilberto Hats got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Urbs LC's Bruno Di Iulio got a free kick in the 54th minute. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezary Tusk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Urbs LC's goalkeeper Eugenio Santoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. After 61 minutes of play, Urbs LC's Gilberto Hats made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Urbs LC's Bernardo Testa was substituted for Edoardo Zuccarini. Urbs LC made a substitution. Ennio Di Marzio replaced Gilberto Hats. Eugenio Santoro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Tejedor in the 67th minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Ihazintu in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Urbs LC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Eugenio Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Di Marzio in the 77th minute of play. Eugenio Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 80th minute of play. Urbs LC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Julian Murillo scored to the left of an out of position Eugenio Santoro, making the score, 3-3. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Ihazintu in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. The supporters of Peru booed when Urbs LC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arrigo Calcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carter Musacchio hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Eugenio Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With an all-out effort, Peru's Eugenio Santoro threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafael Gallo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Urbs LC's Eugenio Santoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute of play. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 94th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
