Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Candido Platon came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Itacaruaré FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Platon couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilberto Dacio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilberto Dacio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Montenegro went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Itacaruaré FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Gilberto Dacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Dacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 16th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Eriberto Ledesma took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. 19 minutes into the match, Itacaruaré FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Gilberto Dacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marciano Garcia succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 27th minute of play forced Itacaruaré FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Dacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Dacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Dacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute of the match, Marciano Garcia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 36th minute, Marciano Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itacaruaré FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 38th minute, Itacaruaré FC's Candido Platon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. After 41 played minutes Itacaruaré FC got a freekick which was hit by Tolunay Atlıhan. A collision led to Itacaruaré FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Erasmo Pudes hit a great ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marciano Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Platon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th match minute, Itacaruaré FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Ledesma to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Garcia in the 63rd minute of the match. Eriberto Ledesma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Platon in the 70th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Dacio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Itacaruaré FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gilberto Dacio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Gilberto Dacio made a huge save. Gilberto Dacio made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Itacaruaré FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Orlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Itacaruaré FC's Marciano Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Itacaruaré FC's goalkeeper Gilberto Dacio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 89th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilberto Dacio came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. The Itacaruaré FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
